All Hands on Deck!!

We are calling on our community to step up now and join one or more of our Concerned Citizens Work Groups: Legal & Audit, Resource & Family Support, Government & Federal Affairs, Public Relations & Media, and Fundraising & Campaign Support. DDA cuts are already affecting lives—we must organize, respond, and push back together. No matter your skills—research, communication, organizing, or simply showing up—there is a place for you in this fight.

Each group plays a critical role in defending services, protecting rights, supporting families, and driving accountability. By getting involved, you help build the structure needed for both immediate support and long-term advocacy. Join us, share this with others, and stand with the community as we continue to organize and fight back.

Will you volunteer?

Resource & Family Support Group: To support families impacted by DDA cuts by identifying and organizing resources, helping navigate systems, and working to build a centralized support hub while coordinating assistance and funding for those in need.

Public Relations & Media Group: To shape public awareness of DDA cuts by coordinating media outreach, supporting personal stories, and developing messaging and campaigns that build visibility and public pressure.

Fundraising & Campaign Support Group: To fund the mission by organizing fundraising efforts, securing donations and sponsorships, and supporting advocacy, legal, and community initiatives along with non-partisan voter education and community mobilization.

Research Group: To understand and document changes within the DDA, including policy shifts, waiver amendments, funding decisions, and service delivery models as well as compile any data or information to help tell our community's story.
